MANILA, Philippines - He knew he hit rock bottom when a failed business venture left him with only P37 in his wallet. Perjohn Ramos Gomez thought at that time his dreams were shattered into a million pieces.
Gomez, 24, was unfazed, however, and resolved to pick himself up from the rubble of his failed business. Armed with money good enough for only a kilo of rice and his dreams of becoming the next big businessman, he waited and prepared to pounce on his new business venture.
“Minsan ka lang mabubuhay. So you have to optimize or if possible, maximize your resources. Alam ko na basta results-oriented ako, I can make it,” Gomez said.
His golden ticket came when he came across Ad-For, an online advertising company that creates a new breed of millionaires by focusing on the worldwide web. The company is Filipino-owned and considered as the industry’s game changer and major player in the information technology. It is composed of a highly reputable team of marketing experts and IT professionals headed by its officers: chairman Jezer V. Petil, president Jay C. Lastima and vice president for operations Ervin Paul O. Halili. The business is not only affordable to get into but also financially rewarding.
“Ad-For utilizes the power of the Internet, text messaging, and word-of-mouth advertising. Clients are assured of the magnificent results of their advertisement with Ad-For, the game changer and one of the country’s leading player in the information technology which gives its partners the chance to earn from the high-yield digital industry,” he emphasized.
By subscribing as a viewer for a one-time payment of $35, a viewer is given an Ad-For personal account website, access to the system, and an ad space on eCatalogue worth $70. Then Ad-For will send them daily ads that, when viewed, subscribers will be rewarded.
Having been a salesman for many years, Gomez noted this is the only legitimate business he has seen that offers significant returns for a minimal investment. He recalled that at his lowest point, while still a struggling sales agent, he sold cookies, snacks, and even nuts to tide him over.
With Ad-For, Gomez stressed the possibilities are endless considering that there are more than 20 million Filipinos who use the Internet on a daily basis. This makes the Internet the most powerful media to date.
Gomez added that with the nature of the Internet, Ad-For also allows small businesses to get equal space and billing with major players, and unlike traditional media, Internet-based advertisements literally reach millions with just one click of a button.
For these reasons, Gomez will be opening on December 21 a Business Center for Ad-For in Baguio City, the first in the Northern Luzon region. While Ad-For, which already has over a million visitors worldwide, may present a new and unfamiliar business venture for Ilocanos in the country’s summer capital, Gomez believes the area is rife with opportunities and Ad-For will be there to cater to the needs of Baguio City residents.
He plans to put up seven more centers in the area – one each in La Union, Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, and two in Tarlac early next year.
He added that like him, Ad-For was not “born” in Baguio but the city, the culture, and the people will definitely make Baguio a hospitable home for Ad-For, just like what happened to him.
Since 2004, Gomez has called Baguio his home and has since completed his bachelor’s degree in Nursing at the City of Pines’ St. Louis University. He is currently taking up his Masters in Management at the University of the Philippines-Baguio where he was elected president of its graduate group for year 2011-2012.
“For me, Ad-For represents an opportunity to become the businessman I dream to be. For small businesses, its impact is greater. They will be given a voice and an opportunity to be known and share their products and services to the world,” he concluded.
