The metro’s glittering crowd and wine lovers recently raised their glasses to toast to this year’s biggest and most prestigious social event of the French business community — the Soiree Beaujolais 2009!
The Marco Polo Plaza, the only 5-star hotel in Cebu City led by fine gentlemen — president Rey Villar and general manager Hans Hauri with the support of Le Club administrator Henry Ortiz, became the excellent host for this grandest, world-wide, wine tradition celebrating the harvest of the young French red wine – Beaujolais Nouveau.
Guests came dressed to the nines as they enjoyed an elegant evening of smooth, free-flowing wine perfectly paired with a delectable array of cheese and charcuteries all flown in from France.
It was indeed an endless night of partying in Nivel Hills as guests drank abundant amounts of Beaujolais Nouveau while dancing to the scintillating beat of Vernie Varga and the Renaissance Band.
Authentic French cuisine, world-class wines, great entertainment, and fabulous raffle prizes truly made this festive tradition of wining and dining the best ever in Cebu!
