Best practices in financial and operational budgeting

MANILA, Philippines — Budgeting plays a very critical role in the planning-budgeting-execution cycle. After building your strategic and operational plans, it is a must to link these strategies with the budget.

To guide business owners, decision-makers, and your management team in the budgeting process to create the right annual budget based on your plans, the Center for Global Best Practices invites you to attend a two-session webinar entitled Best Practices in Financial and Operational Budgeting to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 6 and 7, from 1:30 to 4:45 p.m. via Zoom.

This webinar is designed to equip attendees with the necessary skills, tools, and techniques to develop and craft their own master budget that is linked to the overall plans of the company. With the right approach and processes, an organization can build a realistic annual budget comprising of various components such as the operational, cash, financial, and capital expenditure budget.

This special program will help organizations improve their financial budgeting processes in the preparation of their financial budget by also teaching them to analyze the variances and interpret the results of their prepared budget.

Learn from CGBP course director and lecturer, Rufo Mendoza, PhD, CPA who was the chairman of finance and accounting development management in public finance at the Asian Institute of Management. He was also the vice chair of the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy and the chair of Continuing Professional Development Council for Accountancy.

His consulting experiences include engagements with The World Bank, Australian Agency for International Development, United States Agency for International Development, United Nations Development Program, and European Commission. He has written four books and 21 research and technical papers.
