Isuzu opens two new dealerships

MANILA, Philippines — Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) continues its expansion in the country as it opened two new dealerships in Tagum, Davao del Norte and Bacoor in Cavite.

IPC president Hajime Koso said during the online ceremony for the launch of the Tagum dealership the decision of Image Motors Davao del Norte Inc. to proceed with the opening despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic offers an opportunity to grow the Isuzu brand in the region.

“Tagum has emerged into a booming city with a strong economic development brought by different businesses citywide. It has become inevitable for IPC to set foot here, so that we can cater to more customers in the region,” he said.

Isuzu Tagum is strategically located in Barangay Canocotan, along the road that connects to the three major road network systems such as the Philippine-Japan Friendship Highway, the Davao-Mati-Agusan Road, and the Davao-Bukidnon Road and links the city to other major destinations in the region and to the rest of Mindanao.

Covering 5,000-square meters, the new dealership features the latest Isuzu Outlet Standard (IOS) showroom design.

It also has a service shop that can accommodate nine light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and four trucks.

“Isuzu Tagum demonstrates our dedication and commitment to create tailored transport solutions that make the greatest difference to individuals and businesses anywhere in the Philippines,” Koso said.

Earlier this week, IPC also opened the Isuzu Bacoor dealership located along Molino Boulevard, the 5,000-sqm Isuzu Bacoor dealership also features the new IOS design.

The showroom can display six LCVs, while the service shop can serve six LCVs and two trucks at the same time.

Isuzu Bacoor, which is under AC Motors’ Isuzu Automotive Dealership Inc. (IADI), will cater to the northern Cavite customers, while maintaining the current Imus branch that will eventually be its satellite office.

To cater to the demand and service requirements of customers in the southern part of Cavite, IPC said IADI is set to put up another Isuzu dealership in Dasmariñas City within the year.
