MANILA, Philippines — Mobile wallet GCash has teamed up with healthcare and telemedicine platform AIDE to provide quality home-based healthcare services that are made safer and more convenient through contactless payments.

With GCash, AIDE looks to encourage more people to keep their health and overall wellness in check through easy and convenient access to online healthcare.

“At the same time, we focus on enabling them to safely manage their finances and have access to various financial services anywhere, anytime,” Sazon said.

GCash has over 20 millions users in the country.

AIDE is a home healthcare application platform where people can connect and book doctor consultations and visits, laboratory, vaccination and other concerns in the comfort of their homes.

It has supported 300,000 patients and made 3,000 online consultations for both chat and video to date, and is currently answering 11,000 patient requests every month.

The healthcare platform also has a roster of 4,000 medical professionals.

“As more Filipinos  adapt to the new normal, AIDE continues to lead the online health marketplace in the country by providing patients with complete healthcare services from the safety and comfort of their homes,” AIDE co-founder and CEO Paolo Bugayong said.
