MANILA, Philippines - The peso dipped against the dollar midday Friday, settling at 43.469 from the previous day's 43.38.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $575.3 million in the morning, higher than the $496.3 million posted the same period on Thursday.
The peso opened Friday at 43.45.
