A fashion show highlighted the launching which showcased the branded product lines of its major product provider, Manels with the following brands – Manels Redwood, Kilaloe by Maphisto and Blue Earth jeans, by the country’s top ramp models.

Other leading product lines such as Sportshouse, Barbizon, Zak and Lei, Lava, Borj and Divine were also featured in the spectacular event.

IPIC president and chief executive officer Jose Paulo N. Legaspi said the company is a fusion of four reputable organizations – iGenesys Group, Portal Innovations Corp., Manels Leathergoods Corp. and Lords Will Partners.

He said the men behind IPIC are certified trustworthy and dynamic business leaders. They have staked their reputation in a mission that also seeks to create a niche in the world market for world-quality Philippine-made consumer and fashion products. Legaspi said he was particularly specific about the role Manels would play in their quest to be globally – competitive.

Manels is celebrating its 40th year as the leading distributor of high quality leather products and has been awarded as the 2001 Outstanding Filipino Retailer by the Philippine Retailers Association and the Department of Trade and Industry.

Legaspi noted that although the leather industry is reeling from the effects of tough competition from imported products, he remains optimistic IPIC’s launching and entry into the marketing arena will infuse a fresh push to the leather and fashion industries.

"With a superb line of products and a clear-cut leverage marketing system, IPIC will surely give Filipinos a total quality lifestyle through direct marketing as an innovative means of honest wealth-building experience," Legaspi explained.
