P4 trilyong makokolektang buwis prayoridad ni Recto
MANILA, Philippines — Ang makakolekta ng trilyong pisong buwis ang pangunahing prayoridad ng bagong talagang kalihim ng Department of Finance (DOF) na si Secretary Ralph Recto.
Sa pulong balitaan sa Malakanyang, sinabi ni Recto na pag-iigihan niyang makolekta ang P3 trilyon sa Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), P1 trilyon sa Bureau of Customs (BOC) at iba pa.
‘’So every night, when I wake up in the morning, dapat ang nakolekta natin more or less P20 billion to fund all the needs of our people, the requirements of the government and to make sure that the money is spent wisely,’’ giit pa ni Recto.
Bukod dito, sinabi pa ng kalihim na mangungutang din ang Pilipinas ng P2. 7 trilyon sa susunod na taon.
Ayon naman kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., hahayaan niya si Recto na dumiskarte bilang kalihim ng DOF.
“He will promote not just ease in paying taxes, but also in efficiently and effectively spending those collections, because the citizen’s reward for tax compliance should be better and more responsive public services,” sinabi pa ng Pangulo.
