KonekTayo School Bus WiFi, inilunsad ng Globe sa Maynila
MANILA, Philippines — Opisyal na inilunsad kahapon ng Globe Telecom ang School Bus WiFi program sa lungsod ng Maynila na magkaloob ng mabilis, maaasahan at murang internet connectivity sa underserved markets sa lokalidad.
Gamit ang KonekTayo WiFi, nag-deploy ang Globe ng mga school bus na nilagyan ng special antennas na magpapakalat ng WiFi signal mula 7am-7pm, Lunes hanggang Linggo, sa mga covered area, kabilang ang Pasaje del Carmen St., Remigio St., 853 Gonzalo Gil Puyat St., 924 Bilibid Viejo St., Tomas Mapua St., Alfonso Mendoza St., Dalupan St., Oroqueta St. at Basco St. sa Maynila.
Libre ang paggamit ng KonekTayo WiFi service sa unang oras para sa public school students at teachers sa lungsod na pinagkalooban ng 289,000 Globe SIM cards.
