May 2 static water tanks na ang nailagay sa evacuation center sa Poblacion Calaca, Batangas para magkaroon ng suplay ng malinis na tubig ang may 1,300 katao na nailikas dito mula sa Talisay, Lemery, Laurel at Agoncillo, Batangas.

MANILA, Philippines — Maglalagay ang Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) ng 10 static water tanks sa mga evacuation sites sa Cavite at Batangas na naapektuhan ng pagsabog ng bulkang Taal.

May 2 static water tanks na ang nailagay sa evacuation center sa Poblacion Calaca, Batangas para magkaroon ng suplay ng malinis na tubig ang may 1,300 katao na nailikas dito mula sa Talisay, Lemery, Laurel at Agoncillo, Batangas.

Bukod sa static water tanks, nagkakaloob din ng bottled water at iba pang relief goods ang Maynilad para sa mga evacuees sa naturang mga lalawigan.

“Maynilad wants to lend its help in the nationwide effort to support our kababayans in their time of need. Since one of the immediate needs of disaster survivors is water, this is what we are providing heavily at this time,” pahayag ni Maynilad President and CEO Ramoncito S. Fernandez.

Anya, kaisa ang Maynilad sa patuloy na nagdarasal at nananalangin na kumalma na at tuluyan nang tumahimik ang bulkan at huwag nang magdulot ng matinding pagsabog.

Ang Maynilad’s earthquake relief efforts ay nai­patupad sa tulong ng Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation, Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Office of Civil Defense, Department of Social Welfare and Development, at local government ng Cavite at Batangas.
