DOJ alanganin kay Mark

Nagpahiwatig kahapon ng pag-aalinlangan si Justice Secretary Hernando Perez sa umano’y alok ng negosyanteng si Mark Jimenez na tumestigo ito sa mga kasong plunder at graft and corruption laban kay dating Pangulong Joseph Estrada na nakasalang sa Ombudsman.

Sinabi ni Perez na dapat alamin kung gagawin ito ni Jimenez para lang makaiwas sa mga kinasasangkutan nitong kaso sa United States na dahilan para sumailalim ito sa extradition treaty. Pero, ayon kay Makati Congressman Joker Arroyo, lubhang huli na ang hakbang ni Jimenez dahil napatalsik na si Estrada sa puwesto. (Ulat nina Lilia Tolentino at Malou Rongalerios)
