Turnover sa City Hall hapsayon

CEBU, Philippines – Aron dunay hapsay ug transparent nga transisyon, ang mga miyembro sa Cebu City Local Governance Transition Team (LGTT) magkita karong adlawa aron hisgutan ang turnover ngadto sa bag-ong administrasyon.

Kini mahitabo kapin sa unom ka semana sa dili pa ang bag-ong administrasyon ang modala sa Cebu City Hall.

Ang LGTT gilangkuban ni outgoing Mayor Tomas Osmeña isip chairperson, ang vice chairperson mao si City Administrator Nigel Paul Villarete samtang ang mga miyembro naglakip sa tanang mga pangulo sa departamento sa City Hall, Department of the Interior Local Government (DILG) City Director, usa ka representante gikan sa civil society organization, non-government organization ug people’s organizations kinsa mga miyembro sa City Development Council.

“The mayor might not be active in this and it will fall on my responsibility to preside and to ensure that everything that is required by law in terms of MC 2019-39 will be complied with,” sigun ni Villarete.

Matud niya nga si Osmeña nagpagawas og executive order alang sa pagmugna sa LGTT sa pagtuman sa DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-39 nga pinetsahan og Marso 13, 2019 nga nag-awhag sa tanang Local Chief Executives sa paghimo sa ilang mga transition teams.

Sigun ni Villarete nga ang LGTT magpaneguro sa hapsay nga transisyon sa lokal nga pangagamhanan ngadto sa mga bag-ong napili nga mga lokal nga opisyal nga mo-asumer sa opisina sa Hunyo 30, 2019.
