CEBU, Philippines — Ang Department of Transportation inubanan sa Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas, Land Transportation Office-7 ug Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatoey Board-7 naghatag og libreng sakay sa publiko sugod kagahapong adlawa hangtud Disyembre 25 niining tuiga.
Matud ni LTO-7 regional director Victor Emmanuel Caindec nga ang maong libreng sakay magsugod kini sa alas 5:00 sa hapon hangtud sa alas 10:00 sa gabii.
Atol sa gipahigayon nga launching sa Oplan Libreng Sakay Pamasko 2018 kagahapong adlawa 20 ka bus units ang ilang gipakatap alang sa maong programa.
Matud usab ni Caindec nga napulo ka bus ang ilang gibutang alang sa norte ug napulo usab sa south.
“The stop are indicated and the buses will only take passengers outbound meaning we will only take passengers from pick-up point to end point. The buses will not take passengers city bound,” matud sa press release nga giluwatan sa LTO-7. Ang pick-up point padulong sa south diha sa BSP Jones Avenue diin ang unang stop diha sa McDonalds duol sa Shopwise, ikaduhang stop diha sa may Total Gas Station sa Basak Pardo, ikatulong stop sa Citi Hardware sa Bulacao, ika upat nga stop sa Atlantic Hardware sa Tabunok ug final drop off point sa Starmall sa Talisay City.
Ang pick up points padulong sa norte diha sa Plaza Independencia diin ang unang stop diha sa SM City Cebu, ikaduhang stop sa San Miguel sa Barangay Tipolo, Dakbayan sa Mandaue, ikatulong stop sa Pacific Mall sa Mandaue City, ika upat nga stop sa Pagsabungan Church sa Mandaue City ug final drop-off sa SM City Consolacion.
Usa ka bus gigahin alang sa mga senior citizen, PWD ug mga nagsabak.
“All other buses are on first come first served basis. The buses will be escorted by LTO, LTFRB, HPG and PNP personnel as they traverse their destination. Again the service is for free”, matud sa LTO-7. (/BDB)(BANATNEWS)
