Si Abellanosa ang kasamtangang pangulo sa committee on natural resources.
“Resolutions have already been file calling for the investigation of the Benguet incident. We will include the most recent Naga tragedy,” matud niya. Sa wala pa mag-landslide sa Naga, miluwat na og press release si Abellanosa kinsa miingon nga i-review ang tanang pending ug existing nga mga balaudnon nga may kalabutan sa mining industry sa nasud.
Gani, si Presidente Rodrigo Duterte miingon nga ang Kongreso angay motuon sa pag-repeal sa Philippine Mining Act of 1995 human sa landslide sa Benguet gumikan sa bagyong Ompong.
“We will hold a committee meeting as soon as possible to take up the resolutions and hopefully schedule a public hearing to investigate both incidents,” matud ni Abellanosa.
