AFP andam na sa augmentation sa eleksiyon
CEBU, Philippines – Ang Armadong Kusog sa Pilipinas ubos pa karon sa white o normal status apan giingong moisa sila sa status kong duol na ang piniliay.
Si Lieutenant General Noel Clement, pangulo sa AFP-Central Command nagkanayon nga sa pagkakaron wala pa sila’y nakita nga rason nga mosang-at og red alert status.
Taliwa niini giingong andam na ang ilang augmentation aron moabag sa kapolisan sa pagbantay sa eleksiyon ilabi na sa Negros Oriental diin 22 ka lungsod niini ang gibutang sa Election Watchlist Areas diin 15 niini ang ubos sa orange category ug pito sa puwa.
Samtang ang direktor sa Police Regional Office (PRO)-7 Chief Superintendent Debold Sinas nagkanayon nga dili nila ma-downgrade ang mga lugar sa Negros Oriental nunot sa presensiya sa Communist Party of the Philippines- New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF).
Si Clement sa iyang bahin, nagkanayon nga ang rehiyon kanunay nga target tungod sa mga turista nga mobisita. “We will always be a target due to the number of tourists. We are on normal alert status but intel are always red we make sure that all threats are prevented and walay maka-disrupt sa activities. We will raise the alert status as election nears, but depende sa activities until election. We will elevate it until it will come to time”, matud ni Clement.
Si Clement mipahimangno sa publiko nga magpakabana sa palibot ug makig-alayon dayon sa mga otoridad kon adunay mabantayan nga kadudahan.
“Terroristic activity can happen anywhere, wala siya’y gipili nga lugar, gender, so it is important nga mag-monitor ta. Ako lang, the people should realize that this concern is our concern collectively. If there are people nga part of this activity dapat report nila beforehand”, dugang ni Clement. (/BDB)(BANAT NEWS)
