Mga resorts hayan pasirad-an

CEBU, Philippines — Posibleng pasirad-an sa gobiyerno kining mga resorts  sa kabaybayonan kon magpadayon kining gihimo sa mga tag-iya nga pagbutang og koral ug pagtukod og mga estraktura sa baybayon.

Kini maoy pasidaan ni Presidential Adviser for the Visayas Michael Lloyd Dino sa gipadalang pamahayag ngadto sa mga tigbalita.

Matud pa nga paglapas kini sa balaod nga nagdili pagtukod og bisan unsang estraktura diha sa kabaybayonan.

Sumala pa sa website sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), ang Presidential Decree No. 1067, Water Code of the Philippines, Presidential Decree 705 o Forestry Code of the Philippines ug Department Administrative Order No. 2007-29, Revised Regulations on Land Surveys nagdili niini.

Ang Article 51 sa Water Code of the Philippines nag-ingon nga : “The banks of rivers and streams and the shores of the seas and lakes throughout their entire length and within a zone of three (3) meters in urban area, twenty meters in agricultural areas and forty (40) meters in forest areas, along their margins, are subject to the easement of public use in the interest of recreation, navigation, flotage, fishing and salvage.  No person shall be allowed to stay in this zone longer than what is necessary for recreation, navigation, flotage, fishing or salvage or to build structures of any kind.”

Apan nabantayan nga daghang nanag-iya og mga lagpad nga mga luna atubangan sa mga baybayon karon ang nagtukod og mga koral ug estraktura gikan sa utlanan sa ilang luna padung na sa dagat ug dili na makaagi o makapangaligo ang mga tawo.

Sumala pang Dino ang DENR-7 nagporma og task force ug karon naghimo og inventory and assessment sa mga nakalapas sa 3-meter easements sa urban, 20-meter sa rural (hilit nga kalungsoran), ug 40-meter easement sa kalasangan.

Gikatakdang imbitahon sa OPAV ang resort owners pinaagi sa Hotel Restaurant Association of Cebu (HRAC), mga mayor sa Lapu-Lapu, Oslob, Moalboal, ug Bantayan Island alang sa panagtigom uban sa DENR-7, Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA), DILG, ug PNP aron pagtuki sa mga palisiya ug magsabotsabot.

Matud pang Dino mahimong ang mga hingtungdan ang mohimo og self-rehab sa kabaybayonan o kilid sa mga sapa, linaw tungod sa mga kalapasan sa mga environmental laws.
