Pacquiao foots bill anew in lunch with family, friends

HOLLYWOOD – Manny Pacquiao is someone who never forgets to share his blessings.

Confident that he has achieved top physical form for his fight with Timothy Bradley on Saturday (Sunday in Manila), Pacquiao attended Sunday service for a blessing then proceeded to his favorite Japanese restaurant here.

At Kabuki Japanese Restaurant, the Filipino icon treated relatives and friends to a sumptuous lunch, a customary activity every Sunday while he’s in town for an upcoming fight.

Clad in an orange jacket, Pacquiao was joined at the table by his wife Jinkee, at times cuddling his youngest son Israel. Fans took turns sitting beside Pacquiao for a photo opportunity.

A handful of media members roamed the area and took photos chronicling this side of Pacquiao’s character, the generous individual who never fails to give back.

On the floor, food overflowed as everyone in his entourage was free to order whatever he wanted.

Last week, Pacquiao hosted lunch at the same restaurant. The bill ran to about $4,000.

With the fight just a week away, Pacquiao’s entourage continues to swell.

So this Sunday’s tab? A whopping $5,000.

But with Pacquiao guaranteed to earn at least $20 million against Bradley, that’s only a drop in the bucket.
