Janitor caught with shabu at NAIA

Rudy Santos - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A janitor assigned at the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) administration building was arrested Monday night as he was reportedly about to deliver three sachets of shabu to his customers.

Jesus Dotollo had been under surveillance by airport security personnel after his co-employees reported that he delivered shabu to some employees at the administration building, located within the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) complex, MIAA general manager Ed Monreal said.

Dotollo was charged with drug trafficking before the Pasay prosecutor’s office.

Monreal said he will have all building attendants and janitors undergo drug testing and those who test positive will be fired immediately.

Meanwhile, a man was arrested after he claimed a shipment of marijuana at the Central Mail Exchange Center, near the NAIA, Monday afternoon.

The package, sent by Alex Weite of Canada to De Andre Travis Johnson Cruz, contained less than 75 grams of marijuana leaves, wrapped in foil, hidden in the folds of a sweater.
