MPC hosts biggest ladies tennis team event
MANILA, Philippines - The Manila Polo Club again plays host to this year’s Philippine Ladies Tennis League (PLTL) tennis tournament, dubbed the most prestigious and biggest ladies tennis team event in the country since 1996.
The PLTL, set Sept. 15-Oct. 17, will be the biggest so far with 24 doubles Teams – a total of 192 ladies competing in Class A and B categories.
The teams come mostly from Metro Manila and nearby provinces representing major tennis clubs. The team members are club-level players from all walks of life – career women, mothers, businesswomen and homemakers.
Every year, PLTL designates different organizing committee members who are players themselves. Majority of the funds come from the support of event partners and corporate sponsors.
PLTL 2014 is presented by David’s Salon in cooperation with Fila, CBRE Philippines, Panasonic Beauty, and Tecnifibre (official ball partner).
