BORACAY ISLAND — A community mall chain recently opened its 14th branch, becoming the first mall on the island of Boracay.
CityMall Commercial Centers Inc., the community mall development arm of DoubleDragon Properties Corp., opened the 14th CityMall on the island of Boracay this weekend.
CityMall-Boracay is a 1.2-hectare commercial and entertainment space on a 3-hectare property. It has two floors and 25 to 30 establishments, including a full-size SaveMore outlet, which is the first full-serve supermarket in Boracay, and Ace Hardware, Watsons, SM Appliance, SM Simply Shoes, BDO, LBC, Rode Drive, Fun Nation and Universal Eye Check.
CityMall also continues its foodcourt concept, FoodWorld, which means Boracay Island just got its very first Jollibee branch, much to the excitement of locals. Other establishments include Mang Inasal, Chowking, Greenwich, Red Ribbon and Highlands Coffee.
The mall also has cinemas, operated by ABS-CBN.
CityMall Commercial Centers Inc. is a joint venture of DoubleDragon Properties Corp. and SM Investments Corp. It is located along the main road of Brgy. Yapak (near Station 1).
