Erratum

CEBU, Philippines – It is with much regret to have this error in the paragraph of the news item published on Sept. 2, 2014: "The victim ... was reportedly sleeping ... when killed." The highlighted word should have been "shot," because as stated in the rest of the story, the victim survived the shooting and is now confined at the Ormoc District Hospital. There was no intention to malign the victim and we are sincerely sorry for missing the correction. Our apologies to the victim and his family for this error in editing.
