Primo A. Cayubit - The Freeman

TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines — A one-hectare lot has been donated by the Leyte provincial government for a housing project in Barangay San Isidro of Sta. Fe town in the province for persons with disability.

Leyte Governor Leopoldo Dominico Petilla told The Freeman that 100 disabled persons from his province who were survivors of super typhoon Yolanda will be the beneficiaries of the housing project.

Petilla said preparations of the site are now underway to be followed by the construction of 50 duplex-type houses.

One unit will cost about P240,000 and will accommodate two beneficiaries, said the governor, adding that donors of the project also vowed to provide livelihood assistance to them. (FREEMAN)
