Face of the Year 2018 nagsimula na
MANILA, Philippines - May pagkakapare-pareho pala sina Ina Raymundo, Alice Dixson, Rita Avila, Sabrina Artadi, Janelle Barretto, Timmy Cruz, Dale Villar, Matthew Mendoza, Gary Estrada, Hans Montenegro, Carlos Morales, at Richard Gomez.
Lahat sila ay nagsimula ng kani-kanilang career under one talent discoverer na si Jojo Veloso, ang founder ng Philippine Modeling Agency (PhilModa), at producer ng Face of the Year (FOTY), a prominent modeling search in the 80s.
Pagkatapos ng ilang taong pamamahinga, magbabalik muli ang FOTY sa goal nitong maghanap ng mga bagong mukha na deserving sa modeling and eventually show business.
But this time, he will be joined with a production house named 16 Degrees Entertainment, as his partner, headed by Bernie Cruz, as the big boss.
Masayang inanunsyo ni Jojo na nagsimula na ang FOTY 2018.
Magkakaroon ng grand launch ang FOTY sa Pacific Star, Makati Avenue at lahat ng mga applicants na nakapasa sa preliminary screening ay ipakikilala sa press. And from there, forty (40) official candidates will be chosen, 20 boys and 20 girls.
Pormal na ring ipakikilala sa public ang mga bagong talent ni Jojo, ang Bratboys at ang Fabulous Girlfriends.
Ang mga lucky winners sa FOTY 2018 ay mapipili sa January to be mounted at the Mega Tent in Libis, Quezon City.
“I decided to relaunch the search because I was encouraged by some influential people and friends who felt that it is the right time to bring back the search,” paliwanag ni Jojo.
“And I am convinced that this search is the best avenue for my return and to continue the journey where I left and what I have started.”
