41 triple-double na si Westbrook
OKLAHOMA CITY – Inasahan na itong magagawa ni Russell Westbrook.
Dinuplika ng Oklahoma City point guard ang single-season record ni Oscar Robertson sa kanyang itinalang ika-41 triple-double para akayin ang Thunder sa 110-79 panalo laban sa Milwaukee Bucks.
Nagtayuan ang home crowd at isinigaw ang “MVP! MVP!” matapos ang kanyang assist kasunod ang pagpapahinto sa laro.
“It’s one of those nights, a special night, and something I definitely will never forget,” wika ni Westbrook. “I’m just truly honored to do it here, especially in Oklahoma City.”

Tumabla din si Westbrook kay Wilt Chamberlain para sa fourth place sa career list dahil sa kanyang ika-78 triple-double.

“An honor to just be mentioned in a conversation with Oscar Robertson, the different things he did for the game of basketball to allow me to play the game today,” sabi ni Westbrook.

“It’s something that I could never dream about growing up in the inner city of Los Angeles,” ani Westbrook. “I never dreamed about a moment like this, to be able to be on this stage.”
Naglista si Westbrook ng 12 points, 8 rebounds at 8 assists sa halftime para akayin ang Oklahoma City sa 63-39 abante.
Nakuha ni Westbrook ang kanyang pang-10 rebound at ika-10 assist sa pagitan ng anim na segundo at tuluyan nang ipinahinga sa huling 2:35 minuto sa third quarter.

Umiskor si Michael Beasley ng 14 points habang humakot si Giannis Antetokounmpo ng 11 points at 10 rebounds sa panig ng Bucks.
