Miss Manila Cristelle Tolentino isinusulong ang mas magandang educational system
MANILA, Philippines – Ang candidate number two na si Cristelle Tolentino, ang kinoronahang Miss Manila 2016 noong Hunyo 24 at the PICC Plenary Hall.
Isang HRM (cum laude) graduate ang 22 years old na si Cristelle sa University of Santo Tomas. Tinalo niya ang 32 ladies from different parts of Manila.
Cristelle impressed the crowd and the judges sa kanyang sagot sa final Q&A portion.
She explained that a good educational system would help more people as it would make them competent to face the opportunities that will come their way.
Tinapos niya ang kanyang 30-second na sagot sa inspiring quote by President Franklin Roosevelt, “We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.”
Nasungkit din ni Cristelle ang Miss Photogenic and Best in Evening Gown special awards.
Ang iba pang runners-up ng Miss Manila ay sina Joanna Marie Rabe, 4th runner-up, Kristel Guelos, 3rd runner-up, Ganiel Akrisha Krishnan, 2nd runner-up at Mercegrace Raquel, 1st runner-up.
Sina Edu Manzano at KC Concepcion ang nagsilbing mga host ng Grand Coronation Night. Tampok naman sa ilang performances ang mga Viva stars na sina Mark Bautista and Michael Pangilinan among others.
Ilan sa mga judges ay ang Viva CEO na si Vic del Rosario, photographer Raymund Isaac, Councilor Yul Servo Nieto at Miss Globe Ann Colis.
