Bong at Lani nakaka-tatlong dekada na

How time flies, ayon kay Senator Bong Revilla, Salve A., when I, together with Len Llanes, Julie Bonifacio, Francis Simeon, at Fred Marc Dumalagan, anak ni Chit Ramos, visited him sa Custodial Center ng PNP, where along with fellow Senator and good friend, Jinggoy Estrada, ay naka-detain pa rin for a case still unresolved for two years now.

Of why he suddenly felt that time passes by so swiftly is because, paliwanag ni Se­nator Bong, ‘di niya aka­laing 30 years, yes, 30 years na silang mag-asawa ni now bagong halal na Mayor ng Bacoor City, Lani Mercado.

They were married May 28 exactly thirty years ago.

Pampelikula raw na maituturing ang love story nila ni Mayor Lani, since aksidente lang na maituturing ang unang pagkikita nila sa then office ng Regal Films sa Greenhills, Quezon City.

Seventeen lang si Mayor Lani noon and he was on vacation from his studies in the U.S.

E, ngayon, heto nga naman at may tatlo na silang apo, the eldest of whom, Gab, anak ni Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla, is nine years old.

Sa kanilang panganay na babae, si Inah, who got married to a del Rosario bago pa man siya mag-debut, Senator Bong and Lani have two apos, a girl and a boy, ages seven and four, respectively.

Now a resident of Davao City, since tubong Davao daw ang pamilya ng kanyang asawa (mga del Rosario), Inah is a second year law student at the Ate­neo de Davao.

Is Davao really a peaceful place to live? We asked Inah, since 10 years na raw siyang namirmihan doon.

‘‘Yes, it is,’’ sagot ni Inah. ‘‘Safe na safe ang feel­ing mo, kahit madaling araw ka nang umuwi from wherever you came from.

‘‘And, no matter na nag-iisa ka.’’

‘E, ‘di pareho pala ng Bacoor City, na napaka-ideal na lugar na.

‘‘At feeling mo, ‘di ka magugutom, masipag ka lamang,’’ patuloy ni Inah.

‘E, di pareho pala ng Bacoor City, sabi ni Julie, who, with her family, has been residing for nearly 10 years na rin in Bacoor.

‘‘Wala kang mararamdamang kaba, kahit saang sulok ng lugar ka pumunta.

‘‘At malinis ang Bacoor, ha,’’ patuloy pa ni Julie. ‘‘And yet, it is a modernized city considering na all the convenience na makikita sa mga key cities ng Metro Manila ay mayroon din sa amin,” sabi ng kasama naming dumalaw.

Former Mayor of Bacoor, we all know, is Strike Revilla, younger brother ni Senator Bong.

Mayor Strike is now the newly-elected Re­presentative ng Bacoor, ang puwesto na dating ‘hawak’ ni now Bacoor Mayor Lani.

Jodi steady ang relasyon kay Jolo

Kumustahin mo ang love life ni Jodi Sta. Maria and she would choose na manahimik tungkol dito. Although, sa mga close sa kanya, alam nilang stable na stable ang relationship niya with her politician boyfriend, na na-reelect sa dating posisyon niya.

Ang nakakatuwa, Jodi’s son, Thirdy, her son with former husband, Pampi Lacson, umano’y close not just to her Mom’s boyfriend kundi sa anak ding lalaki ni Jolo.

Halos, kung sabagay, magkaedad din lang naman sila.
