3 dead in Luzon road mishaps
MANILA, Philippines — Three persons died while at least a dozen others were injured in separate vehicular accidents in Luzon on Saturday.
Marcelino Guya, 49, died at the scene while his three companions were rushed to a hospital for treatment after their motorcycles figured in an accident in Quezon province.
In Isabela, Ferari Wandag, 34, was declared dead on arrival at a hospital after her motorcycle driven by Gener Banggolay collided with a sport utility van in Santiago City.
On the same day in Pangasinan, Raymond Ochave died when his motorcycle collided with a bus in Labrador town.
Meanwhile, 10 members of a family were injured when their van fell into a ravine in Sagada, Mountain.
Ray Laureaga lost control of the wheel after the vehicle developed engine trouble.
Laureaga and his relatives, all of Luna in La Union, were on their way to Sagada Mountain when they figured in the accident.
