4 cops held for creating trouble at bar
CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Four police officers were arrested for creating trouble at a bar in Lucena, Quezon before dawn yesterday.
Police Officer 1 Robert Quierrez, PO1 Maynard Derama and PO2 Michelle Eyatid of Burdeos police station and PO1 Jerial Suarez of the National Capitol Region Police Office were having a drinking spree at the Central Park Garden Café and Bar Resto in Barangay Ilayang Dupay when they reportedly became rowdy. Suarez also allegedly fired his 9mm pistol at around 3:30 a.m.
Their companions, Jose Javar Capus and Elmer Quierrez, were also arrested.
The suspects are facing charges for alarm and scandal, indiscriminate firing and violation of the gun ban in relation to the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit.
