'Paolo' enters PAR

MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Storm Paolo (international name: Lan) has entered the Philippine area of responsibility, PAGASA said Monday.
In a severe weather bulletin issued at 11 p.m., the state weather bureau said the tropical storm packs maximum sustained winds of 80 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 95 kph.
Its eye was spotted at 940 km east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar at 10 p.m. Monday and was forecast to move west-northwest at 11 kph.
"Paolo" brings an estimated moderate to heavy rainfall amount within its 425 km diameter.
