8 arrested in Antipolo City drug sting

MANILA, Philippines - At least eight drug pushers who used social media sites in their operations were arrested in separate drug stings in Antipolo City Thursday.

A Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agent busted the group’s after penetrating their chat room on Facebook and sought to buy shabu and marijuana.

In three separate operations, the operatives arrested Evandolf Coronado, Rovic Reyes, Mark Anthony Vasquez and April dela Cruz who allegedly yielded P24,000 worth of shabu.

Four others, who also allegedly yielded marijuana leaves and shabu, were arrested in the succeeding bust.
