Magnitude 5.6 quake hits Bohol
MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude 5.6 earthquake jolted Bohol yesterday morning.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the epicenter of the quake, which occurred at around 9:06 a.m., was located 19 kilometers southeast of Lila town.
It was felt at Intensity 1 in Catbalogan, Samar and Borongan, Eastern Samar.
Phivolcs said no damage is expected from the quake, but warned of possible aftershocks.
