Reward up for info on grenade blast

Lino De La Cruz - The Philippine Star

ILIGAN CITY, Philippines – A P100,000 reward has been offered for the arrest of the perpetrator of the grenade attack on this city on Wednesday that left four persons wounded.

Detained Mayor Celso Regencia offered the reward.

Senior Superintendent Leony Roy Ga, Iligan police acting director, said they are checking the footage of a closed-circuit television camera near the scene to identify the man who hurled the grenade.

Probers said the attack could either be in retaliation to the government’s drug war or an act of terrorism.
