Teen caught breaking into principal’s office

CEBU, Philippines - For attempting to burglarize their principal's office, a 17-year-old boy was arrested Friday afternoon in Argao town.

The boy, whose name is being withheld for being a minor, was arrested in a hot pursuit operation.

Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the school principal's office at Canbanua National High School by destroying the ceiling. He reportedly studies in the same school.

He was already inside the office when security guard Santiago Buenaflor noticed that someone was inside.

Buenaflor saw the boy while the latter immediately ran away.

Argao Police then received a call about the incident and proceeded to the area.

Police officers led by SPO2 Meliton Agadier were able to arrest the teen in a hot pursuit operation at Argao Public Market in Barangay Poblacion.

The minor was positively identified by the security guard.

The suspect is now in the custody of the police pending the filing of complaint before the prosecutor's office. (FREEMAN)
