Ex-NPA rebels shot dead

MANILA, Philippines - Two former New People’s Army rebels were gunned down in Masbate and Isabela on Thursday.

Reports reaching Camp General Simeon Ola identified one of the victims as Benjamin Condrillon, a resident of Sitio Talisay in Barangay Pasiagon in Placer, Camarines Norte.

In Isabela, Orland Quimado, 44, was shot dead by unidentified men in front of his wife and children at his farm in Barangay Rizaluna in Cordon, Isabela.

An investigation into the killings is underway. – Francis Elevado, Raymund Catindig
