Aklan bettor wins P63.5-M lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines - A bettor from Banga, Aklan won the jackpot in the 6/55 Grand Lotto’s Aug. 1 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

The still unidentified winner picked the six-digit winning combination 08-29-16-26-13-21, which had a total jackpot prize of P63.5 million, according to PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II.

Sixty-three other players won P16,370 each after they guessed five of the six-digit winning combination.

Rojas said the winning ticket was bought from a lotto outlet in Barangay Poblacion.

The 6/55 Grand Lotto is drawn every  Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
