Fire hits Freddie Aguilar’s house

MANILA, Philippines — A fire of unknown origin broke out at the house of singer Freddie Aguilar in Quezon City late Tuesday night.

The blaze started in the music room of Aguilar’s two-story house along Avery street in Barangay North Fairview at past 11 p.m., city fire marshal Senior Superintendent Manuel Manuel said.

Manuel said the fire reached the second alarm before it was declared under control 30 minutes later.

Damage to property was estimated at P1.5 million.

Arson probers said they have yet to establish the cause of the fire.

No one was reported injured in the blaze.
