Boy, 15, slain in Tondo riot

MANILA, Philippines — An out-of-school youth was killed during a riot at the Baseco Compound in Port Area, Manila on Monday.  

 Ralph Lauren Dalde, 15, of Juan De Moriones street in Binondo, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center from gunshots to the chest.

Police Officer 3 Michael Marragun of the Manila Police District homicide unit said Dalde was a member of the street gang Trouble Syndicate Boys, a rival of the Original Trouble Gangsters.

 Witnesses said the groups clashed at the Baseco Compound at around 11:50 p.m.

A member of the rival group fired shots, hitting Dalde.
