NDRRMC holds quake drill today

MANILA, Philippines -  The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) will hold a nationwide earthquake drill at 2 p.m. today.

While the drill will be launched in Davao City, the Office of Civil Defense at Camp Aguinaldo urged the public, including Metro Manila residents to join the activity.

“This is part of the quarterly earthquake drill initiated by the government to help prepare the public should the Big One hit the country,” NDRRMC spokesperson Mina Marasigan said.
