Mobile phone load seller slain in mugging
MANILA, Philippines – A man selling mobile phone load was robbed and shot dead in front of a store in Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon, Quezon City Tuesday morning.
Ronald Sevilla was waiting for payment at around 11:15 a.m. when an unidentified robber ordered him to give up the money he collected for the day, a witness told police.
When Sevilla refused, the robber shot him twice. The robber shot him a third time as he lay on the ground.
The robber was described to be a man of medium build and 5’5” tall, clad in a black jacket and denim pants.
Police recovered two shells and a slug from a .45 caliber pistol at the scene.
