Manila bettor claims P56-M lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines – A 60-year-old lotto player from Manila yesterday claimed the jackpot in the 6/45 Mega Lotto’s Feb. 3 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

The winner picked the six-digit winning combination 05- 3-14-17-20-31, which had a total jackpot prize of P56.44 million.

PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said the winner, who has been playing the lotto since 1996, combined the birthdates of his family members.

The winner plans to invest his winnings in business, share it with his three children and save for the future.

The 6/45 Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday Wednesday and Friday.
