QC bettor claims P9.9-M lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines - A 70-year-old bettor from Quezon City has claimed the jackpot of the 6/45 Mega Lotto’s Aug. 18 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

 The player hit the six-digit winning combination 04-42-28-43-26-12, which had a jackpot of P9,939,144, said PCSO acting chairman Jose Ferdinand Rojas II.

Rojas said the winner bet P80 for a “lucky pick.”

The new millionaire said he would share his winnings to his children.
