Preliminary peace talks with NDF

President-elect Rodrigo Duterte is sending incoming peace process adviser Jesus Dureza and Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello to Oslo for preliminary talks with the National Democratic Front. 

He said the meeting will be on the framework for peace talks with the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army-National Democratic Front and on bringing CPP founder Jose Ma. Sison home.

Duterte said he will give Sison, who has been living in exile in the Netherlands, a safe conduct pass for the peace talks.
