Small canteen, big hit

Eat's a miracle. A canteen serving the tenants of an office building in Lapu-Lapu City has become the toast of the block after word spread about its affordable prices and delicious dishes.

An Ear source said the canteen started small, with the owner not even sure she could run the business for very long. But after filling the menu with family recipes business just took off.

Now many workers in other office buildings troop to her canteen for lunch. Sometimes the guard in the building has to bar them from entering because there is no more sitting room.

"Usahay di na gud pasudlon sa guard kay ang uban mo-reklamo wa na'y sud-an," the owner told The Ear.
