No senior line for passengers

THE EAR - The Freeman

Age is just a number.  A source told The Ear the following story. Following complaints of long lines during check-in at an airport, an airline company opened a check-in counter to accommodate senior citizens exclusively so they no longer have to stand in the regular (and long) line.

However, there seemed to be no takers from the seniors who chose to stand with the younger ones in the regular line instead.

Eventually some senior foreigners lined up at the counter, but no Filipino seniors did. In fact, Filipino seniors seemed to be afraid of the line altogether.

"Hay nako, bisan naglisod na ang tuhod, mo-deny gihapon nga tiguwang," the source said.
