PUJ drivers race

Reckless. After exchanging glances at a green light, two PUJ drivers stepped on it, trying to beat each other to the next jeepney stop. It ended when one recklessly cut in front of the other, bringing the loser to a screeching halt, jolting passengers from their seats.

But the losing driver and his wife (who was in the front seat) just laughed like it was a game. When passengers complained of their cavalier attitude toward safety, the two defended their actions saying many drivers do it too.

"That's why I won't miss PUJs when the BRT is here," one of the passengers later told the Ear.
