Shipping animals humanely

Crated croc. After seeing photos of the last of Cebu Zoo’s animals being shipped off to Amlan, Negros Oriental, an animal activist said the animals should have been better taken care of.

She cited for example the crocodile which was just placed into a crate of almost the same length and width, barely enough room to maneuver or move. She said there should have been a bigger container for animals, but that’s when her friend cut in.

“Mao bitaw gipanghatag na sila kay di ka-afford ang city government og mga ingon-ana,” her critic said.
