Face- off: LJ vs Julie Anne

In the GMA afternoon drama Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa, LJ Reyes and Julie Anne San Jose reprise the clashing characters Angeli and Santina played respectively by Lorna Tolentino and Maricel Soriano in the movie version directed by Ishmael Bernal for Regal Films. Even in the trailer, LJ and Julie Anne are obviously taking their roles to heart that they are credible as mortal enemies although in real life they are the best of friends.

Directed by Gina Alajar, the searing drama also stars Benjamin Alves as the object of the two girls’ tug-of-war, and Martin del Rosario as the villain.

Julie Anne

• My biggest fear is…losing someone.

• I pray for…my family, my life and for a good life.

• The most important person in my life…my family always.

• If I were to be reincarnated as an animal I would be…a bird. It’d be nice to fly.

• My most traumatic experience was…when someone broke into our house which happened I think last year. I think that was the scariest so far for me. It happened so fast. I woke up to something like that na someone entered my room, and then I chased the guy only it was too late for me to realize buti na lang he did not have any weapons. It was caught naman sa CCTV pero we didn’t catch him.

• I deal with gossip by…simply ignoring it.

• The one thing I cannot do without is…burger and fries.

• The guy that turns me on is…someone who is understanding and thoughtful.

• The guy that turns me off is…someone who is arrogant.

• I lose my temper when…I’m very patient, so it will take something really drastic to make me lose my temper.

• When I’m alone in my room I fantasize about…traveling to different places around the world.

• If I were to be somebody else I would be…I don’t have any particular person in mind kasi everyone’s different naman in his own way.

• I’m happiest when…I’m with my family.

• My ultimate goal is…to reach my goals and be successful in life. Right now, I’m just really blessed and thankful sa support ng mga taong nagmamahal sa akin and of course sa GMA na binigyan ako ng panibagong project. For me, every day kasi may success ka na nakukuha like you survived another day, waking up araw-araw, etc. Yung matapos ko yung isang araw tapos masasabi ko na “Wow, na-survive ko ‘tong araw na ‘to.”

• What I don’t like about myself…I over-think. Though I choose to sleep at night but I couldn’t kasi I always turn to over-thinking.
