A bouncing boy for James & Mic

MANILA, Philippines – As The STAR had reported in a scoop, James Yap and his girlfriend Michela ‘Mic’ Cazzola’s first child would be a boy, delivered the normal way last Monday, Aug. 8, at 6:55 p.m. at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Global City where the couple lives.

To be named Michael James, MJ for short (a combination of his parents’ names), the baby weighed 6.5 lbs. and measured 53 cms.

During the baby shower last June, James said he was excited to be a full-time, hands-on dad to MJ, a duty he wanted so much but wasn’t able to do to Bimby, his son with ex-wife Kris Aquino.

MJ is James’ third child. The eldest is with his girlfriend before Kris and Michela.
