Magical moments with Andrea Bocelli

MANILA, Philippines – From the moment he uttered the first word of his song, Andrea Bocelli brought his fans to a different world.

On Tuesday, Bocelli’s concert was divided into two segments.

The first was dedicated to his favorite pieces from Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini and Umberto Giordano. The other half was dedicated to songs from his album, “Cinema,” which features some of his favorite pieces from classic films like the “Maria” from “West Side Story” and “Music of the Night” from “Phantom of the Opera.”

He was also joined by some world class talents like the soprano Maria Katzarava and flautist Andrea Griminelli.

Filipino talents like Gerard Salonga, and the Philharmonic Orchestra were also in the show.

There was also Filipina Christine Allado, who was applauded by the crowd for her clean and powerful voice.

On a night in the middle of  a busy week for his Filipino fans, Andrea Bocelli brought them to a magical world, even for just a night.
