Global Cebu-Kaya trilogy at CCSC this pm

CEBU, Philippines - Global Cebu FC returns to its turf as it faces Kaya FC-Makati in the Philippine Football League at 7 p.m. today at the Cebu City Sports Center.

Global Cebu is raring to bounce back after suffering a 2-5 loss to JPV Marikina last Monday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila.

This is the third time that Global and Kaya will face each other. Global walloped Kaya in their first encounter, 3-1, then figured in a 2-2 draw in their previous match.

The win is crucial for both teams as they are currently tied with 28 points behind tournament-leader FC Meralco Manila.

With this, the Global Cebu booters are calling on the Cebuano fans to come and cheer for them. The home team is expecting a big crowd especially from the Global Cebu Sugbu Warriors.

Global Cebu will be bannered by the likes of Philippine Azkal mainstay Misagh Bahadoran, Patrick Deyto, Darryl Roberts, Shu Sasaki, Wesley Santos, OJ Clarino, Hikaru Minegishi, Dennis Villanueva, Fritz Brigoli and Paul Mulders.
